Best Aerial Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh at Anaahat Yog.
Anti-gravity yoga or aerial yoga actually originated in New York but has now worked its way back to India, the birthplace of yoga. There is an incredible number of aerial yoga benefits and because of this, it is now practised all over the world. Aerial Yoga combines traditional mat yoga with dance-like movement, in postures suspended in soft fabric hammocks.
Aerial Yoga is a leading proprietorial method within the modern yoga trend so it is now being followed in India. It provides an experience, with the help of gravity, that allows you to stretch and strengthen without overstressing your joints or compressing your vertebrae, where one can learn to invert and hang suspended in the air. The feeling in the body is like flying or floating, creating space in your body you didn’t know you had!

This special type of hammock can support up to 300 kilos of weight! They consist of carabiners, 2 support daisy chains, and 1 Aerial fabric. The hammock can hang from a supported ceiling inside or from trees outside. The 2 support chains hang down to lower the hammock to around 1 metre from the ground (depending on the user’s height or preference).
The hammock supports your hips, particularly for forward bends and back-bends. It acts as a swing and is, therefore, your base for many Asana variations as well as warm-ups moves. Mat asanas that you may find hard, usually, will be easier to do in the air. For example, a hammock can be looped around one foot as you stand on the other for versions of standing big toe pose and king dancer. These applications are similar to an Iyengar-style rope wall. And, for Savasana, the hammock wraps around your entire body like a cocoon.
One of the very basic part of Yoga path is Asana practice. Practicing all traditional poses to master the body and learning physical importance of one’s life. You will get to know about many poses and different ways of practice.
How many times in a day do you think of your Breath ( the life force ) ? Learning all about Prana to make it balance. After mastering asana next practice is a subtle practice of prana which connects one’s inner self.
Knowing Human anatomy in relation to practice yoga Asana makes practice always as safe and maximum beneficial. As long as you do not have a good command on human anatomy you can not be confident enough to guide someone to practice asana which is anatomically correct and beneficial. Same is for physiology.
Alignment is the master key of asana practice to get maximum benefits without any risk of injuries. Implementation of anatomy in asana practice helps you to perform asana correct and properly aligned.
Art of teaching is the part which makes you different from everyone else’s. The art of guiding an individual body according to the condition of that body. How you can make the practice of yoga easy and interesting for everyone is the art. You will learn all those things which will make you a special teacher.
Practicing concentration calms you down mentally, makes you emotionally strong and helps you sync physically , mentally, emotionally and energetically. And eventually this synchronization leads you to enlightenment.
